We're celebrating the start of 2011 with the launch of our new collection! We've been working (and chatting) about this for a few months now, so we are SUPER excited that the cards are now out! Check them out in our little shop here!We've also added new stores to our list of retailers here.

This year has gone by oh so quickly! Here we are just a few weeks away from Christmas!Our Christmas cards are sent out & most of the holiday gifts have been checked off.
We would like to say a HUGE thanks to each and every one of you for your love & support.
It's been a fantastic year in so many ways and it would not have been possible without you.
In the new year we'll have a brand new collection of cards that we are super excited about! You'll see why very soon! So have a very Merry Christmas! Safe travels if you are visiting family & friends abroad.

The last part of the year always seems to go by so quickly, especially with each month having a holiday. The Canadian Thanksgiving just past, and there are so many things to be thankful for.

We are very excited to have our cards in these lovely shops!
It's been many months of sketching, designing, revising {repeat cycle}, but we are at the finalizing stage for our new collection of greeting cards now!

At last...summer is here...

Summer is finally upon us in Vancouver, much to our delight, and so is wedding season! We're also working hard to create a fresh new collection of greeting cards. Who knew there are so many decisions to be made for a greeting card? Stay tuned for updates!

It's hard to believe that we are almost half way through the year. May came and went and now June is shaping up to be a very busy month with Father's Day (June 20th)...Graduations...and the start of Wedding Season! We have a great selection of cards for each of these occasions in our litte shop, including a brand new graduation card.
To our delight, we have two new stores in Washington - Merry Go Round and Elliott Bay Books! During the first two weeks of May I was in San Fancisco and visited the Hayes Valley area (one of my favourite places in the city). I was particularly looking forward to checking out the newly renovated Lavish shop where...guess what?!...Designs by Val cards are now at.

Quite a bit of news at the start of this month...
But firstly, Mother's Day is May 9th...Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely mom's out there! We also just started working with a new rep in Toronto, so look for our cards to be in more stores there. New stores so far: Bounty at Harbourfront Centre & Outer Layer (Queen St location).
And lastly, we are closed from May 1 - 15. We'll be back before you know it and ready for more paper love.

It's hard to believe that we are already in month four of this year. Things are continuing to happen and grow, including having our cards in a new store for us in San Francisco! We are very very excited! Details to be revealed soon. And thanks to everyone for your sweet comments about the look of our new website.

THANK YOU to everyone for your support this year. It's been an amazing one! We'll be closed for the holidays until January 6, 2010. Any orders placed between this time will be processed when we reopen in the new year. We're very excited about the new designs coming up for 2010, so keep in touch!
